Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Harringay Park Bus Board
I'm sure Stephen will tell us, but I'm guessing Harringay Park was used to refer to a terminus at what is now Harringay Green Lanes station. This would place this sign at some point between 1951 and 1958.

This is a typical London Transport 'UPPER CASE' linen bus destination blind manufactured at Aldenham Works. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aldenham_Works
Upper Case blinds were produced until 1961 when London Transport changed to 'Lower Case' for reasons of improved legibility.
The 'curtailment point' at Harringay Park can into use in 1952 and was used by 'late running' buses on tram replacement route 171. I think buses were turned at Endymion Road and parked up on the Arena forecourt.
The 'turn' was necessary as the 171 had no other curtailment points between Newington Green & Tottenham Garage.. apart from Harringay Park and 'BLACK BOY LANE West Green Road ' which I think was rarely, if ever used.
