Comment by scunch on June 28, 2012 at 0:15: I know what you mean, when i heard the initial idea i was worried it would be quite oppressive / overbearing but I stand corrected. Go have a look at it in the location. Seeing it in the space changes the overall effect. Oh and the unfinished/over-dilated pupil in this case is also spooky. Now the eyeball is complete it's far less creepy. Not to mention what a coup it was for the local residents involved to get an artist of that caliber to step on up to Turnpike Lane and gift the community some art. Well done them and thanks Shep.
