Shot from the banks of the New River looking north west, towards the eastern side of number 73 and across the railway line to Atterbury Road.
From the photo, it all looks very open compared to today. It looks like one could stroll along the river bank and use the wee wooden gate to cross the railway line. Can it possibly ave been like that?
