Hugh, is this under a preservation order? I do not know much about the architectural history of buildings, but it would be a travesty if this building was ever pulled down.

Good news on this one. The Salisbury is a Grade II listed building - Harringay's only protected building. I've written a short article about it on Wikipedia.
