Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Ridge Road under construction 1900 and early years with view towards end of Hog's Back

The first photo came labelled "Ridge Road under construction 1900". I'd feel happier with that if I could place the little spire on the right of the picture. I've checked it for a match with the former Congregational Church on Mount View Road and that doesn't seem to fit.

The second photo, below, was shot in about 1905 and will be familiar to former train watchers. It shows the formerly open end of the road that looked over the Great Northern Line, where Chettle Court now stands.

Possibly the little spire on the right of the "Ridge Road under construction 1900" picture once topped a building now occupied by Otway Court. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Otway+Court,+Granville+Rd,+London...
