At Manor House, as at Turnpike Lane, there were stairs to the underground leading directly to loading platforms for trams in the middle of the road (in this case in Seven Sisters Road). They gave direct connection from the Piccadilly Line to the trams easing the horrendous crowds changing from tube to tram at Finsbury Park.
