Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Back in the days when the Shelton Hotel used to be a pub. It was in business from 1894 to the mid 1990s. Originally known as The Railway Hotel, it seems to have dropped the hotel part of the name in later years.

I used to drink there when I first came to Harringay in 1977 and stayed.

Nice to see this and a shame it got converted back then. The Shelton appeared in a film once, called London River,  with Brenda Blethyn staying there.
