Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Can you identify this Hornsey Villa built for W R Perry in 1875

I had a bit of a bash and failed. I did the same with the"Finsbury Park house" recently and was delighted to get a fairy rapid ID from a HoL member. Will my luck old out this time?

1875 - Villa at Hornsey, London - Architecture of London - Archisee...


If I’m reading the information correctly, I reckon a view from Crouch Hill to Alexandra Palace, over the village of Hornsey, could be an elevated position close to Dickenson Road...give or take a street or two. It so happens there’s a foot-print on the old plan of 1895 resembling the villa’s floor-plan –which I’ve included on the image. The site now appears to be a block of flats?


I’ve had a look around Crouch Hill on street view but don’t see anything else as convincing at this time.
