A sparkling new St Peter's Church
Approximately 150 yards from this junction, south, on a foggy morning in about 1958 my father drove our car straight into the back of a parked car! Never saw it he said. Ex-copper and the skid marks were 15 feet long - so that wasn't snail's pace was it dad?
Used to know the vicars son back in mid late 60s, also went to cub in the hall behind the vicarage.
why is this picture not John the Baptist looking south from Lausanne Road?
It’s a disgrace, Lance. You make a point though; it probably should refer to Lausanne rather than Frobisher - a momentary slip of the cerebeum, I suppose. Now corrected. Thanks.
