Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

This pub was destroyed by bombing during World War II and was rebuilt by Haringey Council in 1952. It was renamed as Villiers Terrace around 2009 and then back to The Princess Alexandra in 2014.

The taller building in the distance is The Maynard pub.

This was shot almost opposite this photo at around the same time. See also this image from a few hundred yards down the road towards Crouch End.
