The relevant thing about this (and the other) photo is the windows.

Sash windows were designed as a public health measure. If open at top and bottom, the stale warm air rises and exits at the top, pulling-in cool fresh air at the bottom. In large rooms, extra windows at the top increased efficiency. 

Now, most A/C systems simply recycle cooled stale disease-ridden air, while creating CO2 and contributing to local heat pollution.

I know N.H. School has had some remedial and cosmetic touches but I doubt we will hear Aero concrete problems there. Solid structured grounding in education in a solid building. While i'm here can anyone advise on who to contact regarding a visit to the school. So far my communications have gone unanswered and I would dearly love to go back after all these years. Top work with the pic Hugh.
