Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Following on the explaination of the conduit current system. Where there was a change from conduit to overhead current collection, usually at the boundary of the County of London with Middlesex, Essex, Surrey & Kent.
The ploughs were shot out by trams moving on to the overhead system, collected and used again by those travelling into London.
Two of these change points were in use at Manor House, south of the junction on Green Lanes and on Seven Sisters Road.
