Wood Green High Road, Shops Collapse Feb 1907

The collapse happened in the evening of 7th February on these two shops, on the wars side of Wood Green High Road, just to the north of where the junction was with Mayes Road, pretty much exactly where the mina entrance to Shopping City is now located.

A more dramatic collapse had happened at Finsbury Park just over a quarter of a century earlier.
