Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The building in the distance is the one at the top of Middle Lane. The post in the foreground is where the clocktower stands today. The trees behind it hid Topsfield Hall, which was demolished in around 1890.

The lamp post just visible next to the taller flag post was put in place in 1877 following a number of night time accidents at this spot.
