This was the Jewellers which was on the corner of Hewitt Road in the 1950's/60's.

Snap! I’ve just bought an identical key on eBay for my collection.

I can't find and information about the company but A. J. Borlet must have been long- established as key-wind pocket watches were replaced with the stem-wind around the middle of the 19th Century.

Oddly they and the shop number are not listed in my 1948 Post Office Directory.
