My guess is that it's looking east at the junction of Park Avenue North. The 'red' buildings look like those facing the Fire Station. The roof and chimneys of the 'brown' building match what is there now. Between these, the vacant space is now filled with some 1920s mock Tudor-ish houses. Interesting to see what are now the majestic plane trees.
