Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Elm House Middle Lane as Crouch End School, c1920

Elm house was a mid-victorian villa on the eastern side of Middle Lane.

In the early twentieth century it was given over for use as a school.

The garden was kept intact and sold with the house. You can see from this shot how huge it was. Off in the distance there is Holy Innocents Church.
