Mayes Road Citadel and market c1905

This was at the Eastern end of Mayes Road near the junction with the High Road.

Compare with this very simillar shot from c1965.

I noticed a banner for the Cinematograph cinema on the front of the building. It's either an advert for the newly opened cinema on Lordship Lane, which would date the photo to around 1910, or it was home to the cinema whilst their new building was being constructed on Lordship Lane.
