Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

To the left of the picture is the ramp up to the platform at Harringay Green Lanes Station. The muddy road in the centre of the picture goes roughly through where the McDonalds drive-though cashiers and collection lane now stands.

andy h your comment Jan 26  2018 : if you are interested : The warehouse on Colina Mews was in fact premises built for manufacture of pianos and organs which Hugh has some interesting features here on this site.

The building is only around 100 years old from memory before being converted into a commercial laundry from around WW2 time.  My Mum worked in that laundry during the 50's.  But it is a good looking block.

Hi John, yes,  I've read Hugh's articles. I've always loved old industrial buildings and the potential they've held.

I think it was a shame to lose the warehouses on St Ann's the other side of chestnuts park. I really thought, cleaned up and repurposed they could have been beautiful.
