I think I know where this is but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

I saw what you wrote initially Hugh and agree. The chimney pots etc. match. Is that "gentleman" on the far left scratching his bottom while the other guy with the dog appears to be eyeing up the ladies across the road. Some things never change.
"what you wrote initially" - eh?
Re your comments, you'e a much better observer than me! I missed all the action.
I thought you wrote something about church and then deleted it. Must change those drugs.
You're psychic, Hob. I thought it, but didn't write it. Spooky!!
I reckon it's looking north, from a position between Burgoyne and Cavendish. Which might mean we're in agreement, if the mysterious reference to the church relates to St. Pauls.....
Agreed. I think it is just past the shops beside the road up to "Harringay Station."
I think you will find this is approx. between Burgoyne Road & Cavendish Road. I think you will find the Gentleman is probably holding his cane tight behind him as he passes the man approaching. Common manners now forgotten.
