The Grove, Crouch Hill c1905

The Grove is off Mount Pleasant Villas, just south of Mountview Road. The photo above shows all houses in this short road of just nine houses built on just one side. Opposite is the Suffragette line (not sure I'll ever get used to calling it that!).

In a triangle of land at the end of the road are allotments which were established between the wars on what I assume was railway land. Both street and allotments are shown below on a screenshot from Google Maps
