The 'Herald Office' would be that of the Wood Green and Southgate Weekly Herald (first appeared in 1861) which was published by Crusha & Son at 210 High Road, Wood Green (reference from Willing's Press Guide for 1918). Checking the address in my copy of Kelly's Post Office London Directory for 1957 confirms that 210 was (and presumably still is) in the row of buildings seen in the picture. Willing's Press Guide for 1955 shows that Crusha were by then publishing three versions of the newspaper, the Wood Green, Southgate & Palmers Green Weekly Herald, the Tottenham & Edmonton Weekly Herald and the Enfield Weekly Herald. I believe they all ceased publication sometime during the 1960s but unfortunately I don't have a precise date.
