The Hornsey Journal started its life in 1879 on Stroud Green Road in a building opposite Station Place. In 1884, the paper moved up to a premises in Stapleton Terrace next to Crouch Hill Station. This is shown in the postcard here immediately to the right of the station
I wrote an article about the Journal's beginnings in the latest Bulletin just published by the Hornsey Historical Society (which you can buy on the HHS website). I also asked HoL contributor and former Journal reporter Richard Woods to write a couple of pieces about his time at the Journal for the Society, which he has very kindly done and they are awaiting publication on the HHS website.
