Manor Cottages stood opposite Harringay Farm, probably the former medieval manor house of Fernefields Manor, which stretched across to where Harringay is today.

Always fascinating - I think this artist has made them look a lot more picturesque than they actually were from photos i've seen (if they were the ones near Holy Innocents roughly where a modern terrace called The Chimes now stands) ... thanks, Hugh, as always for putting them on.
They were pretty picturesque, I think. Although if only includes the northern section of the cottages, see for example, this photo from 1894.
