View from Oakfield Road across Abyssinia Village towards Ally Pally 1878

The footpath to the right of the photo followed a field boundary from Tottenham Lane towards Harringay, The first part of its course is now described by Rathcoole Avenue. In the centre distance you can see Abyssinia: Hornsey's Lost Village and Holy Innnocents Church on Tottenham Lane. Somewhere to the left (west) of that was Harringay Farm, sadly not visible in this picture.
