A very nice photograph. Love these old photographs. I started train spotting in the early 60's in Wood Green (Alexandra Palace & Palace Gates) when I was a nipper. I've just had a look at my Ian Allen 1964 Combined Volume, the two steam locomotives were both taken out of service by then, so probably never saw them. Reminds me of the song - "Born to Late" by The Poni Tails.
Hi Hugh,
Nice! Reminds me of my train spotting days in the mid 60's, I managed to climb on board an A4 Pacific in Neasden depot and walk through it's tender, without getting thrown out! Regulations were far more relaxed in those days.

It might be worth your dropping a note to the local archives at Bruce Castle Museum.
