Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!


The station was renamed "Harringay West" on 18 June 1951, but reverted to "Harringay" on 27 May 1971.

Where did that footbridge lead to?

There was a footpath that ran from the main station footbridge down behind the houses in Stapleton Hall road. This footpath crossed the curve from the T&HJ railway by this bridge. The footpath then continued across the T&HJ railway and came out in Dagmar Road.
