Somewhere along this section was a motorcycle shop (Strand?) where I met and briefly interviewed the great Geoff Duke in about 1961 ish.

The motorbike shop was Coburn and Hughes

There used to be a wood shop along there that sold fishing gear and maggots which we bought to go fishing at Finsbury Park lake.

There was also a newsagents where you could book coach tickets to travel from Victoria Coach Station.
