Harringay Flagon

Walter Randall ran a wine and spirit merchant at 551 Green Lanes (next door to today's Snug). Walter was the property's first tenant. He ran the shop from the late 1890s until 1905. In 1906 it was recorded trading as Lauderdale Ltd. The image above suggests this might also have been Walter running the business under a new name.

Although Walter moved on, the shop continued to run as a wine and spirit merchant, under the name J Jupp & Son from 1907 up until WWII
