And the last chance to link to much older maps, by comparing the last remaining field boundaries which are probably over 500 years old..

Look at the big comfortable houses along the east side of Green Lanes up to Colina. They didn't last long.

Just been looking at this 1902 map and in fact within 6 years all those open spaces were gone. Grand Parade was planned in 1899 and 2 years later had shops and dwellings. A phenomenal rate of growth.
