How interesting - a while back I snapped a makers name on the back of a wooden bench in South Harringay Infants (which still has a lot of charming old furniture). 

The address is 370 Strand. This is an advertfor them from 1912.

That's a nice connection. I guess they must have had a showroom on the Strand.
