Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

It's interesting to read "Large Electric Power Machinery". This was 1910. I wouldn't have guessed that a small printing shop in Harringay would be running electric machines so early on.

This building has a rather interesting history. After the Second World War, at street level it became Harringay Photographic Supplies. Upstairs was Harrison Marks' rather naughtier photographic studio!

That was an impressive stationery type store in my time  50s/mid 60s.

I remember Greenways very well, my brother did a Saturday job there. They sold the wonderful " Conway Stuart " fountain pens
