Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

One of the many floods that used to plague Green Lanes towards to bottom of Allison & Beresford Roads.

You can see the Salisbury pub and a gap where Salisbury Parade now stands. The Coliseum Cinema opened on the corner of St Ann's Road opposite the Salisbury in 1913.

Always at the same location... where the Stonebridge Brook passes under Green Lanes.. I think I can see that there Salisbury in the background..

And just to annoy Hugh ... are you sure that's 1915? on the card and not 1905? Looks like an '0' to me! :o)

Look at the title Steve; it says 1905. It was given to me as 1915 and that's what the jpeg's entitled. So the original entry in latest activity picked up the jpeg title and not mine, but as you'll note, I mention that the Coliseum wasn't built till 1912/13 - that's what told me it was 1905.
