Are you sure this is Cavendish Road - isn’t that the bridge in the background? Which would make this taken from the other side of Green Lanes (Cavendish runs west from GL, this photo is taken from the east side)

Yes it's the bridge, as the title says, and yes, I'm sure the turning on the far right is Cavendish Road, but you're right the camera was at Rutland Gardens. I used Cavendish in the title because the image is oriented towards the west side of the road. Since that seems to be confusing, I've added Rutland to it. At the bottom of Burgoyne where the Old Ale is now, the shop in this photo was a fishmonger.
