Indeed. That corner is to the left. Beyond that is where the new Cinema complex now stands.

Could have been my Grandmother in that shot! She lived at the top of Gladstone Avenue and gave birth to my Father in 1905. She remembered the trams wafting along at night, like ships fully illuminated. I had a friend who lived in one of the houses that fronted Spouter's Corner.
