Comment by snappy stephen on March 25, 2012 at 10:57: Hi Seema: You are most kind! I haven't seen the duck since so perhaps it was a very occasional visiter to the best lake in North London. The heron is also notable by its absence but I'm told that there are a couple of Egyptian geese in residence so that could be my next photographic assignment. The only touble is that I don't know how they differ from the Canadian variety!
