Operating as a pub since around 1830, the Ferry Boat has long been considered to be in Tottenham. However, it's actually just across the border in Walthamstow. This view taken from the road.

Looking at both pictures I am wondering if it was originally a hall house? Anyone?

Looks like it used to be a ferry house in the days before there was a road bridge over the Lea. See attached document for some detail.
