Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The 1930s was a decade when Harringay's piano industry was flying high.

Harringay was one of the centres for piano manufacture in the UK along with Tottenham to the east. In the same year as this ad appeared the Harringay factory of Challen built what was to remain the largest piano in the world until the end of the 20th century.

Only 24 gns for the Ritz model.  I'd love one of those today!

You'd have to pay £1,690.25 - equivalent. Get you a Yamaha for a fraction of that.
