This is a photo from the early Thirties shot from outside 320 Green Lanes. It shows the edge of 318, the entrance way to 318A and, what I'm guessing, is the construction of the new Manor House pub after the arrival of the Piccadilly Line.
To find out the interesting story of 318 & 318A Green Lanes see this post.

Love that old car !
So where that car is parked, that would have been the entrance to the tram depot.
Thanks Hugh, its been so long now since I lived there, its changed so much.
As a kid of around 6yrs old I remember those tram tracks very well,I wished I'd gone down to the depot at the time to have a look, maybe I thought it too dangerous. I'm not too certain but something tells me I remember a tram like bus in operation around 1951 but I may be wrong. Certainly remember a mass of trolley bus overhead cables on the Manor House junction.
I certainly remember the two covered islands in the middle of Seven Sisters Rd opposite the Manor House Pub and the police officer directing traffic in the centre of the junction,I wonder if there were traffic lights there at that time! There was also a tardis type police box by the park gates too which I haven't seen in any other photos. There was a tea/coffee trailer parked outside the underground entrance in Green Lanes opposite the tram entrance.
