Comment by Hugh on August 13, 2021 at 1:40: I think the building closed as a school in 1975 (but that needs checking). By the end it was juniors only.

Comment by John Shulver on August 18, 2021 at 12:54: Would those new roof tile areas be bomb damage repairs ? And is that the roof of an air raid shelter just visible above wall in centre of pic ? Looks like "Wardens Post C" painted in white on it. Rather grim looking building though.
