Pedestrian Crossing Experiment Signal, October 1963
One of the signals used for the pedestrian crossing experiment trialled in Harringay. This one was outside the old Coliseum Cinema on Green Lanes.

It must have taken hours, weeks, months even to find a way of fitting this sign and two traffic lights on to one pole. This style was actually the norm for most of the crossing lights.
Of the three on view on the other photo, the two without traffic lights were the exception.
