Yes the Three Compasses is still there today. It was rebuilt shortly after this photo. It's on the High Street next to Greig Academy School.

I've just located it on Google street view and remember it now.I seem to remember back in the 70's there being a catholic school for girls where the Greig academy is now. Correct me if I'm wrong.
