Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The builder of the New River four hundred years ago, Sir Hugh Myddleton staged a ceremonial opening at New River Head on 29th September 1613.

Amazing drawing. I never thought the New River was built in 1613. I thought the Victorians made it.

The Brits were so clever in the 16th Century!
