Was the Ritz in the 50s when we went for Saturday morning film club; then the ABC in mid 60s.

Indeed there was; it competed with the Express Dairy cafeteria along the parade which my family used for years. !

My Nan was the cook in a restaurant/cafeteria along there somewhere.  I'll have to ask family if anyone remembers the name.

So I take it this cinema went through three name changes,the last being The Coronet. I only remember it being the ABC around the end of the 60's early 70's.
