Sadly I've forgotten all the names, but Ruth springs to mind.

We often had informal meetings at the Unity Theatre, Godington Street.

The meetings were usually held on the same evening as the folk club night.

"Don't you hear the H-bomb's thunder

Echo like the crack of doom/ ..."

Another popular singer always sang "The Hole In The Elephant's Bottom"

Simple happy days!
