The photographer was J & G Taylor 631 Green Lanes London N (That's between Fairfax and Effingham). That would favour North Harringay as the prime suspect.

Fascinating picture. There seems to be just one boy in the class - back row far right. A teacher is casually resting on the piano although there could be another, younger at end of the middle row.
It is an early one for sure - pre WWI even?
They seem to be knitting ?
The happiest days of their lives ? The one at the near end of the middle row doesn't agree
The girl at the piano looks like her head has spun around 180 degrees - very spooky....but as there is a statue of the virgin Mary in the background, I would guess a Sunday school too - also doesn't the watermark refer to "by Harringay nuns".... and the number block on the front desk looks like one of those hymn number blocks - from dress alone I would go for 1900-1910
I think it's crochet not knitting by the way....
Well spotted
If Sunday School, which sounds good, then which church? And which church had proper desks? I'd bet on Green Lanes Methodist church - it seemed always to have more space than others.
Or possibly the Sunday School in Falkland Hall?
