Broadway, Crouch End, c1936

This photo looks to have been taken after the new town hall was built, but before the electricity and gas showrooms were erected.

On the far right are three telephone boxes that arrived with the town hall, no doubt connected to the new telephone exchange to their right (and out of shot). At his point, also out of shot. the last two houses of Bellevue Terrace with their ground floor shop-extensions, still stood alongside the Dunns building.
