Oh Hugh, the memories! This was on the corner of Stanhope Gardens where I lived. Walked passed this building on my way to work every morning. Thank you!

It is still a Barclays Bank. Frost the sweet shop next door we used by our fireworks and bangers.They also sold ciggies one at a time, unfortunately can’t remember how much each. At Easter they did a fabulous window display of Easter eggs.

Lived next door at number 2 Stanhope Gardens 1952 till 1962 seemed a lot lot longer than ten years.
