Would anyone know if the girl third from the left is Daphne Evans?  If so, I used to be at school with her and knew her up until 1960 when I left London.

Coronation 1953 Barratt Avenue Wood Green

Lovely pics.   Reminds me of our Coronation street party on Harringay Road.  We had a big old trailer with tarpaulin side covers.  On board were kids all dressed up as various characters.  My older sister was skilfully dressed (in crepe paper!) as Queen Victoria.   We had a wonderful memento photo which sadly ended up (and lost) in Australia with my Sister.

But I love the little bugger on the right craftily stepping on his neighbour's pristine white clad foot.

Would be interesting to know of those happy kids outcomes.
