This is the original skylight in the back room, originally the billiards room. The boarded up one Maria refers to in the lobby would of looked up into the now disused stairwell entrance to the old hotel. It was part of the plans to reproduce it when the pub was refurbished about 10 years ago, but i guess the cost was too much! shame
